Q&A with Bryan

Why did you join MFP?

Our clients have audacious goals: building careers and families at the same time. Just like us.

What do you like most about being a financial planner?

We get to know our clients well – like, really well. Like your longest friendships, the conversations and advice get better the more vulnerable we are together.

If you had to pick another occupation, what would it be?

A therapist. My favorite conversations are the ones where people say “thank you for the great advice!”, when all I did was ask the right questions and listen without judgment.

What is your biggest professional achievement?

It may sound mundane, but when I became my entire family’s go-to for financial advice. It means everything having trust and responsibility from the ones you care most for.

What is some of the best advice you have received?

People don’t remember what you said. They remember how you made them feel.

What is your most memorable trip or vacation?

Dubrovnik, Croatia with my wife for a 3-yr anniversary trip.  Breathtaking views, nice people, and bang for buck!

What is the next bucket list item you are planning to check?

Summer beach trips to Waveland, Mississippi (outside of New Orleans). My grandparents were pushed out after Hurricane Katrina, and we are re-igniting the tradition.
